 As a free weekly newspaper that publishes every day for free online (i.e., without the much-dreaded paywall), the Charleston City Paper relies on advertising revenue to keep the doors open. While it’s impossible to list everyone who has purchased ads over the past 25 years, there are several advertisers who have stuck with us, year after year. We’d like to shine a light on some of these long-time friends, many of whom are still in business today and whose continued patronage benefits more than our bottom line — they inform our thousands of readers about deals, offers, events and cool stuff happening in shops and venues across the Lowcountry.
